A DOCUMENTARY centred on Irish musician Damien Dempsey has revealed the healing impact of his music on his audience. Following standing ovations and rave reviews following its World Premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh earlier this year, LOVE YOURSELF TODAY went on to pick up The Audience Award for Best Feature at the IFI Documentary Festival. Colm Meaney on COP26

Actor Colm Meaney has said he does not believe that the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow will lead to the change which is needed to protect the environment. Meaney, who described himself as an “armchair environmentalist”, said his 16-year-old daughter has “climate anxiety” and she is “angry” about how climate change is jeopardising her future.

Fiona Shaw in new Krasinski flick

Legendary Irish actress Fiona Shaw is to appear in a new film directed by The Office US star John Krasinski. The 63-year-old star of stage and screen will feature alongside Fleabag actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Ryan Reynolds in the new movie. As well as writing and directing the production, reportedly titled IMAGINARY FRIENDS, Krasinski will also co-star in the new flick.
