Irish actress Aisling Franciosi is set to star alongside Sandra Bullock in a new film called THE UNFORGIVABLE. The movie sees Hollywood actress Sandra play a woman who, after being released from prison, realises no one is ready to forgive her violent crimes and sets off in search of her estranged sister – played by Dublin native Aisling.

Oscar Wilde Award for Dónall Ó Héalai

Irish actor Dónall Ó Héalai will be honoured at next year’s Oscar Wilde Awards. The annual awards ceremony is held by the US-Ireland Alliance to celebrate the contribution Ireland makes to film, television and music. The 34-year-old Galway-born star will be presented with the Wilde Card Award, which is regularly presented to up-and-coming talent, at next year’s ceremony.

A DOCUMENTARY centred on Irish musician Damien Dempsey has revealed the healing impact of his music on his audience. Following standing ovations and rave reviews following its World Premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh earlier this year, LOVE YOURSELF TODAY went on to pick up The Audience Award for Best Feature at the IFI Documentary Festival.
