Now, the Dublin actor will star in PRESSURE, a true story ticking-clock thriller set amidst the D-Day landings in WWII from HOTEL MUMBAI director Anthony Maras. Due to shoot in the UK this September, Maras’ film has no release window or further casting announcements beyond Scott’s involvement yet.

RIPLEY star Andrew Scott has joined the sprawling cast of WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT STORY.  The FLEABAG actor will star in the whodunit alongside the previously announced additions of CHALLENGERS breakout Josh O’Connor and Cailee Spaeny of PRISCILLA fame. And of course, Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the quirky sleuth at the center of it all, Benoit Blanc. The initial 2019 film KNIVES OUT was released by Lionsgate and surpassed $310 million at the global box office.

RIPLEY star Andrew Scott has landed a role in new audio series THE QUEEN’S GAURD. The new project from erotic audio app Quinn will see the actor play Robb the Protector and will launch May 16th. This isn’t the only audio project Scott has taken on recently, with the star lending his voice talents to an Audible production of George Orwell’s 1984 alongside Andrew Garfield, Tom Hardy and Cynthia Erivo. The SHERLOCK actor is having quite the year, having recently won acclaim for his starring role in ALL OF US STRANGERS.

ALL OF US STRANGERS star Andrew Scott is earning rave reviews for his performance in the new Netflix series, RIPLEY, now streaming. Scott brings a hum of sinister energy to the role of Tom Ripley, in a psychological thriller full of suspense from the start. Set in 1961, the show flashes back from that opening scene, and sets up Tom as a small-time grifter in New York City, in a trajectory true to the Patricia Highsmith novel the show is based on.

Andrew Scott has been named best actor at the Critics’ Circle theatre awards for playing every role in VANYA, adapted by Simon Stephens. In February, the star won best actor at the Critics’ Circle film awards for his performance in Andrew Haigh’s film ALL OF US STRANGERS. It is the first time both awards have been won by the same actor in the same year. The FLEABAG star took all eight roles in the solo show VANYA, which ran at the Duke of York’s theatre in London, directed by Sam Yates, and was released in cinemas last month. With nominations and awards recognizing the Dublin actor’s on-screen prowess, Scott’s global success continues with the newly released RIPLEY trailer from Netflix. Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom’s acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder. The limited series drama is based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels and lands on the streaming service on Apr 4.
