Happy Birthday Eve Hewson!
Happy birthday to Eve Hewson. The Dublin actress’ first major role was in the 2011 drama film THIS MUST BE THE PLACE, and she made her television debut as Nurse Lucy Elkins in the 2014 Steven Soderbergh series THE KNICK. Hewson’s got a ton of work on her plate these days. She’s been spending time in Cape Cod shooting a limited series for Netflix, THE PERFECT COUPLE, based on Elin Hilderbrand’s bestseller alongside Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, and Liev Schreiber.
Sharon Horgan meets Conan O’Brien
Fresh from BAFTA success, BAD SISTERS creator Sharon Horgan sat down with late night legend Conan O’Brien. In the podcast, Horgan discusses her early (unsuccessful) days as an emerging writer and how her Irish upbringing keeps her grounded in the wake of this year’s success.

BAD SISTERS trailer
Five sisters, a dead brother-in-law, and a possible murder are at the centre of Apple TV+’s BAD SISTERS, an upcoming thriller that feels like Big Little Lies plus a lot of dark comedy. Based on Malin-Sarah Gozin’s Belgian series Clan, Bad Sisters follows the five Garvey sisters, played by Sharon Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene, and Eve Hewson, who one day conspire to put an end to their abusive brother-in-law with predictably chaotic results. BAD SISTERS is streaming on Apple TV+ from Aug. 19.
