Irish rising star, Barry Keoghan, shines in the brand-new SALTBURN trailer. The Oscar-nominated Keoghan plays Oliver Quick, a student struggling to find his place at Oxford University, while Euphoria star Elordi portrays charming aristocrat Felix Catton. When the two men meet in the mid-2000s, Oliver finds himself drawn into Felix’s world. Keoghan’s character only falls further into the foreign territory when Felix invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for the summer.

TOP BOY is set to return for its star-studded final season in September, this time featuring Irish actors Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson. Dublin-born Barry Keoghan has become one of Ireland’s most recognized talents, having received international acclaim for his swiftly growing filmography. He starred in Christopher Nolan’s 2017 war epic DUNKIRK and also appeared in CHERNOBYL, THE GREEN KNIGHT and Marvel’s ETERNALS. Most recently, he received an Academy Award nomination for his role in 2022’s THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, alongside his Irish costars Colin Farrell and the father of his TOP BOY costar, Brendan Gleeson.

THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN star Barry Keoghan and EUPHORIA‘S Jacob Elordi are set to play a gay couple in a new erotic thriller. The upcoming movie called SALTBURN has been described as being “a wicked tale of privilege and desire”. The film was written, directed and produced by Emerald Fennell, who won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 2021 for PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN. Margot Robbie has also signed on as one of the producers. The LGBTQ+ movie will be released in cinema in New York and Los Angeles on November 24 before a wider release on December 1.

Barry Keoghan and Brian Gleeson will be starring on screen together later this year after the Irish actors both joined the cast of TOP BOY. Netflix has confirmed season three of its hit drama will be coming out in September 2023, with Keoghan and Gleeson playing new characters. The final chapter of the show’s third and final season will feature regular cast members Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson, Simbi Ajikawo, Jasmine Jobson, Saffron Hocking and Araloyin Oshunremi. Keoghan and Gleeson will be playing new characters Jonny and Tadhg.

Barry Keoghan has been cast as Emperor Geta in GLADIATOR 2, and that he will be the film’s main antagonist. According to sources, THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN star has joined the cast of GLADIATOR 2 as the sequel’s main villain. Keoghan will portray a fictionalized version of real-life Roman Emperor Geta, called Publius Septimius Geta, who governed Rome from 209 to 211. Deadline reported in January that Paul Mescal, who garnered his first Oscar nomination this year, will portray the sequel’s hero.
