In upcoming drama RIDLEY, he will play a retired DI who finds himself lured back into service when his former assistant calls on him to help crack a complex murder case. As filming for the new show commences in Lancashire, a first look image has been released.

The first trailer for new blockbuster epic THE NORTHMAN has been released. Shot in Northern Ireland, the Viking revenge film is set at the turn of the 10th century in Iceland and stars brothers Alexander and Bill Skarsgård, Emma actress Anya Taylor-Joy and Ethan Hawke.

It was announced that the Irish comedian will next appear in the “Doctor Who” holiday special. The upcoming episode of DOCTOR WHO, EVE OF THE DALEKS will also include Irish actress Pauline McLynn and actor Adjani Salmon.
Northern Irish crime drama BLOODLANDS launched back in February, becoming the most watched local drama in history, with an average of 8.2 million viewers for its first episode. Speaking about season two James Nesbitt said: “I’m thrilled that viewers responded to Bloodlands so positively and that we will be returning for a second series.
