Keoghan Cast In GLADIATOR 2

Barry Keoghan has been cast as Emperor Geta in GLADIATOR 2, and that he will be the film’s main antagonist. According to sources, THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN star has joined the cast of GLADIATOR 2 as the sequel’s main villain. Keoghan will portray a fictionalized version of real-life Roman Emperor Geta, called Publius Septimius Geta, who governed Rome from 209 to 211. Deadline reported in January that Paul Mescal, who garnered his first Oscar nomination this year, will portray the sequel’s hero.

Negga in PRESUMED INNOCENT

Deadline is reporting that Ruth Negga is set to star in the limited series PRESUMED INNOCENT, joining Jake Gyllenhaal. Negga will portray Barbara Sabich, an “artist, gallerist, mother and wife.” Barbara is personally affected by the case as her husband, Rusty, was the person accused and the victim is Rusty’s mistress. Now, Barbara must deal with the massively publicized trial while dealing with a broken heart and trying to protect her family.
