NORMAL PEOPLE earns 7 Baftas
The popular drama, set in Ireland and based on a novel of the same name by Sally Rooney, is nominated in the director, editing, sound, and photography and lighting categories for a fictional television show. Paul Mescal has been nominated in the leading actor category for his performance as Connell, and Daisy Edgar-Jones is nominated for leading actress for her role as Marianne.
CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS cast
The casting for the television and streaming adaptation of Irish author Sally Rooney’s CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS has been announced. Newcomer Alison Oliver, a native of Co Cork, who has been cast as Frances in the upcoming series. She is joined by Joe Alwyn, Sasha Lane and Jemima Kirke.
