THE TOURIST S2 now on Prime

BELFAST star Jamie Dornan can now be seen in Season Two of THE TOURIST, now streaming on Amazon Prime. Shot exclusively in Ireland, the second season finds Elliot (Dornan) and Helen (Danielle Macdonald) hoping to unravel the mysteries surrounding Elliot’s identity. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when confronted with the dangerous aftermath of Elliot’s past. Dornan has been recently been announced as the lead actor in the upcoming Netflix crime drama THE UNDERTOW, where he’ll be the latest major star to take on the challenge of playing identical twins.

The admission came as Dornan became the latest celebrity to take on the HOT ONES spicy chicken wings challenge on the popular YouTube show and admitted that “with every bite, it feels like more of a mistake”. The BELFAST actor can currently be seen in Season 2 of THE TOURIST.

The filming for the second series took place in Ireland and viewers will get a chance to see the results early next week. The second series will focus on Elliot and Probationary Constable Helen Chambers (Danielle Macdonald) as they continue to hunt for answers relating to his identity. In doing so they are forced to face the dangerous consequences of his past actions.

BELFAST star Jamie Dornan returns to the small screen in the action-packed Season Two of THE TOURIST. In Season 2, Elliot and his ally Helen (Danielle Macdonald) travel to Ireland to find answers about Elliot’s identity, but instead, they are forced to face the dangerous consequences of his past actions. The second season will debut exactly two years after the first arrived on our screens, with the first episode airing at 9pm on 1st January 2024 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

BELFAST star Jamie Dornan returns in THE TOURIST season two on January 1 2024. The series follows Elliot Stanley (Jamie Dornan), a man who wakes up with amnesia in an Australian hospital. The character is helped by Helen Chambers (Danielle Macdonald), a probationary constable. Season 2 takes place in Ireland and will see Elliot and Helen confronted by friends and foes. The first season premiered in January 2022 and was Britain’s most-watched drama of 2022 across all platforms.

Dornan took a unique approach to the audition process as he wore Superman pajamas to try and impress Warner Bros! While MAN OF STEEL could’ve elevated Dornan’s name at the time, his career hasn’t exactly been damaged by losing out on the chance to play Superman.

Jamie Dornan eyes Emmys with THE TOURIST

Jamie Dornan’s big 2022 might get even better before 2023 comes calling. The Co Down actor, who starred in Kenneth Branagh’s Oscar-winning BELFAST also made a splash this year thanks to his star turn in the lauded HBO Max series THE TOURIST which is aiming for Emmy nominations, according to a report last week in Hollywood trade bible Variety.
